Dan joined the film industry as a runner in 1999 after a three year degree in Law at Newcastle University. Whilst running, he achieved notoriety for writing a gonzo blog depicting the film industry from through the eyes of a disenchanted runner. This became Roguerunner.com and it was from these auspices that Rogue Runner Films was borne.

After two years working on commercials as a runner, Dan was hired by Warner Bros to assist the Video Operator on Harry Potter & The Philosophers Stone.

Midway through the first film he was promoted to head of 2nd Unit Video Dept and kept that position on all the subsequent Harry Potter films. In his capacity as 2nd Unit Floor Editor he has been responsible for providing the 'first cut' of many

famous action set pieces from Quidditch flights to Dragon fights and the Knight bus chase, which
were used as reference by the principal directors of each film.

White Other is the latest short from Roguerunner films. Previous releases include the Cannes film fesival 24 hour challenge winner 'Serial Filmmakers', the BAFTA nominated 'Love you, Joseff Hughes' and BATA 'Big Pitch' competition winning script 'Black Ice.'

Work is now underway on a feature film adaptation of White Other which we hope to commence in 2011.
